May 30th = my 27th birthday... and CARPET!!! Hooray!

Happy Birthday to me... blah, blah, blah...

3 months... sorry for the quality... I don't have a scanner, so these are pictures of pictures.
somewhere between 12-18 months... can't remember on this one, but check out the chub! Plus, I LOVE this one because BOTH of our kids have crossed their legs/ankles since they were tiny. It's really funny. And for those who know Kate and her famous "finger toes", look at my toes. They may not be as long, but definitely curled the way she always has her's curled. The difference is, as my Mom has pointed out on numerous occasions, is that Kate actually curls with BOTH knuckles on her toes... who can do that? Seriously... the girl has skills!

2 years old - definitely seeing Jackson here
9 months... do you see a resemblance with Kate or is it in my head? Lately, people have been saying how much Jackson looks like me and Kate looks like Parker... I just think they're weird, but maybe you can all see something I cannot. Or maybe I'm blind... not sure. I'm beginning to think that my kids just both look like Parker and they only look like me right now because they're chubby... some truth?

Beautiful (and really HOT) Sun

Look at those little curls in the back... so cute!
Jackson recently got a haircut... since his hair is blond and thin, it doesn't look like there's much left, but I promise, there is.
I thought it would be a good idea to let his little white bod see the sun before it gets crazy hot (like I know it will this summer) so that his skin can prep a little for the summer ahead.
You may need to wear sunglasses just looking at him in these pictures... I'm pretty sure he got my skin.
Lately, Jackson has requested that Kate do EVERYTHING that he is doing. He always wants "Baby Tate pay with me"
I struggle a little with Kate in the sandbox because she doesn't understand (no matter how many times she tries it) that the sand DOES NOT taste good. What a silly girl!
I love this little scrunched up, the sun's in my eyes facial expression! And yes, Jackson insisted upon wearing his boots, even though it's a million degrees out.

A boy and his tractor... that's a happy face!

On the go...

Jackson was so excited to help Daddy mow the lawn. He loves to help Daddy with everything! The past few months, he has been especially interested in "sixing" (fixing) things. I constantly catch him bending over to peek under a table or chair or his big dump truck... other times, he just lays down on his back like Daddy when he's "fixing" the car to "six" it.

Oh, we will miss these views!
For some reason, Kate just loves to play around the wood stove. It's one of the only potentially dangerous places in our house and she just can't get enough of it.

Love that bed head!

It's official...

we signed a million legal documents and now we own our home! Hooray! (The lady at the Title Company took this... obviously didn't realize you have to wait for the auto-focus, but at least the day was documented. Another note: we had about 45 minutes notice that we would be signing so we all look lovely!)

Oh, happy day!

Pretty baby!

I know these are random, but that's our life. Here's a sneak peek.
Trying to grab the camera...

Oh, she is just the cutest little girl! So happy and lovey!
Jackson just recently (long after his 2nd birthday) discovered the toilet paper in the bathroom. He never touched the stuff. Kate = different kid. It's like she has someone to show her the ropes and so things just come more easily for her. Jackson (aka Deputy) came to inform me that "Baby Tate make mess in the bath-oom". I grabbed the camera and took off. Here she is and I caught it step, by step. She hardly noticed I was there.

Her pacifier was in the way... oh, there we go, waving it in the air while test-tasting the TP.
In a nutshell, Parker and I stay in shape because we are laughing all day long at the silly things our kids do and say. (If they are naughty things, we try to refrain from laughing until they can't see/hear us anymore.)
