Wedding Dress Shopping... (for Heather)

Chloe & Kate... We took the little girls with us and Parker kept Maddie, Jackson & Christian at Tiffany's. They played at the park, did "crafts", played games, ate lunch and dinner and even ended up at a fun jump house (Kangaroo Zoo) by the end of the day (when Mike got home from work)... then milkshakes! All the while, we were driving all over the Salt Lake valley and up to Logan and back searching for the perfect wedding dress for Heather. Obviously, I cannot post pictures of her (though there are MANY). She looked beautiful and all grown up and may have possibly fallen in love all over again (with the dress, I mean).
Kate was tired of sitting... I guess we don't spend near as much time in the car as the average infant/toddler since we live in a small town and our lives aren't very busy yet. She was tired and anxious to get out. Actually, I was impressed with how well she did.
Kate had so much fun watching Heather in her beautiful dresses (begging for Heather to pick her up and hold her each time she reappeared from the dressing room). She loved this little platform step and the 3 square platforms on top for the brides to stand on... she just ran around and around them.
Kate also took advantage of the full, wall-sized mirror... and got excited when she would see "the pretty baby" (aka herself) in the mirror.
Chloe being such a good girl and staying in the stroller
Girls munching on Auntie Anne's pretzel sticks while Heather tries on another dress...
Chloe and Kate... so tired and SO patient!
see... they zonked
Finally back at the car. I had to capture this before we put them in their carseats and chanced waking them up. Actually, Kate surprisingly stayed asleep for about another hour. Obviously, she was worn out!

Day of Nico's Blessing

Kate snuggling with Miles' puppy

Jackson and Parker
Hanging out at Sarah & Lamar's before Nico's baby blessing
Kate showing off her legs

Parker, Chloe, Miles, Jackson, Kate

So fun to play with cousins!
Maddie "taking pictures" (it's a viewfinder-type, but she was sure she was actually taking pictures) and Heather
Maddie and I both taking a quick picture of Jackson
Jackson took this picture of Maddie
Jackson and I also captured a cute picture of Grandma tickling Miles
Miles all ready to go to the church for Nico's blessing
Parker playing with the kids.... Chloe and Miles (Jackson took this)
Parker helping Miles tuck in his tie "tail" (Jackson took this)
So cute! I was getting Kate out of the car, but Parker was able to catch these two (Jackson and Maddie) being such cute cousin friends! They really DO love each other (even when they love to tease each other)!
I ran across the parking lot and tried to capture it close up, but they were ready to go inside with everyone else
Jackson & Maddie being cute (I'm pretty sure there's blue playdoh on Jackson's sandal...)
Kate (14 mos), Jackson (2-1/2), Miles (3), Maddie (3-1/2), Chloe (14 mos)...All the cousins (except Nico because he hadn't arrived with Sarah yet)

I put all of these up to illustrate what a joke it is to try to get all of the kids to look at the camera and sit semi-still all at the same time.

Jackson, Miles, Maddie

I told them to "show their terrible claws"... Jackson and I have been reading Where the Wild Things Are (just found out they made a movie out of the book... coincidental!) and he just LOVES it!
Chloe and Kate

Kate licking the couch... GROSS!!!

Nicholas arrived all dressed and ready for his blessing

Cousins: Christian, Jacob, Benjamin, Zack, Tyson, Josh

Lamar with Nicholas
Nico
Jackson "reading" out of the hymnbook
I don't look so hot here... definitely was a little rushed this morning, but it's a picture with my 2 cute kids, so it's a good one
This is what happened after the blessing (I had Kate in the foyer during the entire "program"... by the time it was over, she was beyond exhausted)

Family Picture? What??!

I have LOTS more to post about, but there are SO many pictures, it may take me a while to get them up (sifted through). However, while we were in Utah, we had some family pictures taken... the original intention was to get a large family picture (of my growing up family, plus recent additions... i.e. spouses and kids), but the photographer also offered to take pics of our own little families, as well as our kids. I think they turned out pretty cute! We were up in Little Cottonwood Canyon... so beautiful with all of the fall colors! I think the contrast is awesome. The background almost looks fake! Now I need to get practicing so that I can take pictures of my kids and learn to edit them like she did.
