Trunk-or-Treat

Jackson (Mickey), Kate (fairy princess), Daddy (Sheriff... I think... can't remember exactly what he decided on)
Each holiday gets more and more fun as the kids (especially Jackson) get older and really get excited. We can hardly wait for Christmas!
Kate thought she was so pretty (well, she is... but she was sure proud of it!)
The kids at the trunk or treat (quick, safe and easy way to go trick or treating!)
Jackson was SO excited to wear his Mickey Mouse costume... he kept asking me when it was going to be time to wear it...
Kate (Fairy Princess) & Jackson (Mickey Mouse)

Kate was so excited when she realized how this all worked. People give you candy and then you get to eat it!

Yummy (and VERY sticky) sucker

bath time

Bath time has really become a whole new experience since the kids have gotten a little older (and bigger). Basically, it's like a swimming pool that is clearly FAR TOO SMALL for them. Splashing is a given, even with all of our "encouraging" that they DO NOT SPLASH! All the toys end up with one kid OR the other... though this aspect is improving. And they much prefer to "wash" each other rather than themselves (aka steal the cup and dump water on the other's head). Can you see that we have at least one CRAZY in our house? She is! Sweet, but loud and crazy!
Silly kids!

Standing up... this is another thing we struggle with... with Kate, especially. She is clumsy, but insists upon standing...
Cute little bare bums! Aren't they (the kids) getting big?

Another Surprise from Grandma!

Jackson LOVES getting "packages" from Grandma! Kate is starting to get into it too, but doesn't anticipate them quite like Jackson does.
Puppets... Kate's SO into these right now. She brings them to me CONSTANTLY and wants me to put them on her hands (usually one on each hand). Then she walks around saying "Hi! Hi! Hi!

Jackson decided that it made sense for Kate to have the pink and purple ones. It's a no-brainer, right? There were 4 puppets, 2 kids... 2 of the puppets were pink and purple, so the orange and green ones must have been meant for him.
Jackson was so excited about his new clothes... we had to try them on right away.
Kate was still pretty excited about the puppets.
However, once she realized that the pink boots were for her, she was strutting her stuff! It was so hilarious to watch her face as she walked around on the tile and stomped so they would make a loud noise. Too funny!

cooperation... LOVE IT!

Parker caught the kids playing so nicely and grabbed to camera to catch them "in the act". They are so cute together. It will be fun (and interesting) to see how dynamics shift in our house with the addition of another girl. I'm afraid Jackson is already "outnumbered" just by Kate's nature and personality, so with another girl, he's really going to learn to give, give, give. Luckily, he's a pretty good kid!

Do Not Leave 2-1/2 yr old Unattended...

{Jackson}
{Kate}
...with markers and 1 yr old little sister. Luckily, they're washable... really. (The marks are kind of weird... looks like he was going for some kind of Lamanite marking or something... why just the forehead?)

Thanks, Grandma!

We got a surprise package today... even Mommy was surprised, so we didn't get any pictures actually opening it... since we didn't know what was inside. BUT! Jackson & Kate are loving the surprise! Halloween and Thanksgiving Little People stuff to add to our collection. Little People are so much fun (and compatible)! Thanks, Grandma!
